Byron Anthony, our Academy Manager, has sent the following message:
Good Afternoon,
“This season, we introduced the Pirates Pot lottery, and we hope to have between 500 and 1000 people sign up.” Following the pre-season debut, we have approximately 400 sign-ups, with a minimum of 500 required to get the ‘ball rolling,’ pardon the pun.
“Our academy is always looking for ways to improve, and the lottery money will help us increase our equipment across the board because all profits will be donated to us.”
“Such enhancements would include analysis cameras, which would aid in the development of each individual.” We are also searching for extra GPS pods to collect the physical data of the younger age groups, as well as strength and conditioning equipment to help with physical performance.
“Everyone at the academy wishes to thank those who have already signed up, and we encourage those who have yet to sign up to do so in order to support our future first-team players.”
