Player reportedly turned down offers from Aston Villa and Brighton to join Spurs this season.
Manor Solomon reportedly turned down many Premier League teams’ chances to join Tottenham this summer, according to Y Net News.
This summer’s signing of Solomon by Spurs was somewhat overshadowed by more expensive signings like James Maddison, Micky Van de Ven, and Brennan Johnson.
The 24-year-old, though, has undoubtedly had a good debut season for the North London club after forcing his way into Ange Postecoglou’s starting lineup and turning in two strong performances against Burnley and Sheffield United.
It was reported by The Athletic back in July that Solomon had his heart set on a move for Spurs this summer and rejected the chance to return to Fulham as well as an approach from Barcelona to seal the move to N17.
Manor Solomon rejected Aston Villa and Brighton
Y Net News have now claimed that Brighton and Hove Albion and Aston Villa also tried to sign the Israeli international during the summer transfer window.
However, it is explained that the pacy winger only ever had eyes on the Lilywhites and thus immediately rejected the approaches from the Seagulls and the Villans.

One can see why Postecoglou really likes Solomon as he is quite aggressive and looks to take on his full-back one vs one at every opportunity, which is something that the likes of Kulusevski and Son do not do with regularity.
