‘It may be: Journalist makes huge claim about why Everton won’t sack Sean Dyche anytime soon
Paul Brown has claimed that Sean Dyche could keep his job at Everton a lot longer than expected.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist stated that the Toffees boss could be saved by the club’s financial struggles.
Dyche was appointed Everton manager back in January following the sacking of Frank Lampard and he kicked of his tenure brilliantly with a 1-0 win over Arsenal.
The 52-year-old went onto keep the club in the Premier League on the final day of the campaign, however things have arguably looked worse since then.
Everton have added the likes of Beto, Jack Harrison and Arnaut Danjuma to their squad, however they have managed to claim only one point from their opening five matches.
While a defeat to the Gunners at the weekend was almost inevitable, Everton’s horrific performance at Goodison Park has resulted in calls for Dyche to face the chopping block.
With the Toffees set to face Luton Town and Bournemouth over the next few weeks, the two matches could have potentially determined whether he would leave his post on Merseyside.
However, Brown has now claimed that Everton may have no choice but to keep him at the club.
Will Sean Dyche be sacked at Everton?
“Everton are in all sorts of financial trouble behind the scenes,” Brown told GIVEMESPORT.
“The fact that Moshiri is willing to take the kind of deal from 777 for his shareholding, which he’s essentially going to be paid for on a performance-related basis, shows you how desperate he is to get out and how bad things are behind the scenes.
“So, it may be that Dyche survives longer than people expect simply because it will cost too much money to get rid of him.”
Everton have already agreed a deal with 777 Partners for the Miami-based investment firm to take over the club.
However, the takeover is likely to take months to be completed and Farhad Moshiri’s lack of funds could make it difficult to part ways with Dyche anytime soon. The Toffees may be forced to wait until 777 Partners finish the deal and hope that their position in the table isn’t looking too disastrous by then.
