Graduates of the Everton Women’s Academy According to the club’s official website, Abby Clarke and Annie Wilding have signed their first professional contracts.

On September 27, the club announced in a positive update that two of their top academy talents had committed their long-term careers to Everton Women.

Under Brian Sorensen, who has shown a willingness to experiment with playing some of the club’s youthful players since his arrival in 2022, they will now be considered for inclusion in the first-team squad.

Everton have made additional efforts to safeguard the team’s future and will be happy to see two of the club’s brightest prospects sign their first professional contracts, which will be a significant step forward in both of their careers.

Sorensen gave Wilding her professional debut in December 2022, after she had been in the youth system since she was 12 years old. She hasn’t played since, but now that she’s experienced first-team football, she’ll be seeking for more frequent engagement.

Clarke also made her Continental Tyres League Cup debut against Durham, and she has since gone on to make her Women’s Super League debut against Manchester City in the last game of last season.Academy Duo Pen First Pro Deals

The midfielder told the official website that signing her first professional contract was a “special” sensation and a “dream come true,” and she indicated a desire to bridge the gap between academy and professional level, with more engagement to come in the coming months.
