Matheus Nunes now sends 10-word messages on Instagram after making his return to Molineux
Saturday was a very uncomfortable experience for Matheus Nunes.
All eyes were always going to be on him following his acrimonious exit from the club.
Nunes had gone on strike at Wolves, refusing to train in order to facilitate his move to Manchester City.
Nunes got his wish in the end, with City paying a reported £53 million.
It had been a decent start for Nunes at the Etihad.
But he was then selected to start by Pep Guardiola against his old club on Saturday.
He was always going to get heavily jeered, and the Molineux crowd was very unforgiving.
You could see that Nunes was put off his game as he made mistakes, and he was actually hooked at half-time for youngster Oscar Bobb.

After the game, Nunes was apparently seen with his old teammates congratulating them on the 2-1 win.
He was well liked in the dressing room, and seemingly there is still a lot of mutual respect there despite his antics.
It was a very forgettable return for Nunes personally though.
Joao Gomes completely got the better of him in midfield, and Guardiola said he took him off as he wanted more dynamism.
Nunes took to Instagram yesterday evening to send a message after his experience.
He did not reference all the boos from the home crowd, instead focusing on being defiant. He wrote ‘We will keep working like always and come back stronger’.
Molineux crowd was excellent an Saturday
One of the reasons Wolves were able to win on Saturday was because of the crowd.
Fired up by the return of Nunes, the Molineux faithful was loud and intimidating.
You could see that the Wolves players were feeding off of it.
Nunes looked uncomfortable the whole time he was on the pitch, and you do wonder if it was a mistake for Guardiola to play him yesterday, knowing the reception he was going to get.
