Looking ahead to Week 5 of the Buffalo Sabers 2023–24 season by Zach Jezioro 4 hours ago After returning to
500, the Buffalo Sabers will look to surpass the
500 mark for the first time as the 2023–24 season continues into a new week.
Looking back at Week 4, the Buffalo Sabers look to start November strong.

They had a back-to-back game with the Philadelphia Flyers, in which Buffalo won the first game but lost the second.
To round off the week, they faced their most hated opponents in the first of four meetings.
In a very exciting game, the Sabers won by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Buffalo will play three games again this week.
First, they will travel to Raleigh to play the Carolina Hurricanes.
In their most recent meeting with the Canes, Buffalo kept their playoff hopes alive with a thrilling victory.
Carolina is 7-5-0 and will present a challenge to the Sabres.
Depending on which version of the Saber we get, don’t be surprised if they win one way or another.
To close out the week, Buffalo will have another rivalry game.
The Buffalo Sabers face their second straight losing streak in as many weeks in Week 5.
Friday night, the Minnesota Wild will be in town.
This will be an emotional evening as it will be Hockey Night Against Cancer.
On top of that, the Sabers and Wild performed somewhat last year, so I’m looking forward to seeing if that continues this season.
After the game against the Wild, Buffalo will travel to Pittsburgh.
The Penguins are struggling to start the season right now, but if you’re the Sabres, you don’t want to be the team they have to go against.

As long as they can play like we expect, I really believe they can score six points at the weekend.
