Collingwood celebrates three members of the All-Australian squad of 44

Josh DaicosBrayden Maynard and Jack Crisp have been rewarded for their fine seasons so far with selections in the All-Australian squad of 44.

None of these three players have made the All-Australian team before, which makes this achievement all the more impressive.

Daicos has thrived under new coach Craig McRae. His role on the wing and through the midfield has seem him rise to new heights. His ability to change a game within moments makes him a crucial part of the Collingwood side. A human highlight reel, Daicos looks primed to be one of Collingwood’s high-level midfielders for the future.

He’s played 22 matches this season, averaging 21.2 disposals, 70.7 per cent disposal efficiency, 2.3 clearances, 2.4 tackles and 3.5 inside 50s

One of Collingwood’s most loved players, Brayden Maynard’s continued growth makes him one of the most important players to team success in the AFL. Often the tone-setter of Craig McRae’s side, his passion and energy invigorate those around him. In 2022, he has shown that not only is he an elite defender, but can also run through the midfield and make an impact across the ground.

Maynard played 20 games this season, averaging 17.5 disposals, 73.8 per cent disposal efficiency, 4.7 marks, 2 intercept marks, 3.3 tackles, 3 spoils, 3.5 rebound 50s and 1.1 goals conceded per game
