Former Kentucky QB Will Levis leads Tennessee Titans to improbable victory on Monday Night Football

Will Levis, former Kentucky quarterback, led his Tennessee Titans to an incredible comeback on Monday Night Football.

With under four minutes to play, the Titans were down 27-13. After a couple incredibly efficient drives captained by Levis and a nice defensive stand, the Titans took a 28-27 lead. This would end up being the final score after the comeback was completed with a sack of Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa on 4th down. In the last 20 seasons, teams were previously 3-2074 when down 14-plus points in the final three minutes.

The Titans’ improbably comeback was made possible by an incredibly gutsy performance by Levis. The QB finished the night with 327 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. Levis also ran four times for 15 yards and made a couple of impressive plays by lowering his shoulder and taking on defenders.

The QB was decisive and played a great game, save for an ugly pick-6 in the first quarter. Levis led multiple quick drives to get points near the end of the game and was seen firing up his teammates on the sideline

This performance is even more impressive when you realize that the Titans’ offensive line did not have a great game. Levis faced pressure on a whopping 46.3% of his dropbacks. However, the QB was able to avoid sacks and only went down once. Levis also averaged a ridiculous 10.5 yards per attempt when pressured.
