Rocker John Fogerty is ready to part with his celebrity-pedigreed equestrian estate in Los Angeles and has listed it for $21.5 million.
The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman hasn’t owned the 10,460-square-foot house, located in the city’s guard-gated community of Hidden Hills, for long. He purchased it from actor Sylvester Stallone almost exactly six months ago, in early October, for $17.2 million.

Fogerty, 78, and Stallone, 77, both shielded their identities in the transaction, using a trust and a limited liability company, respectively, records with PropertyShark show.
Tucked away behind gates at the end of cul-de-sac, the more than 2-acre compound is “one of the most unique, special and private properties in all of Hidden Hills,” according to the listing with Jordan Cohen of Re/Max One, who didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Set at the end of a long driveway, the five-bedroom main residence has a grand two-story entry, a theater room, a library, a massage room, and a “sensational center island kitchen” that opens up to the family room, which in turn leads to a covered patio, according to the listing.
The equestrian estate is in the gated enclave of Hidden Hills.

Ideal for equestrian enthusiasts, amenities at the property comprise a four-stall barn, a tack room and a professional-sized private riding arena.
There’s also a self-contained guest house, a custom pool and spa, a pool house with a fireplace, new drought tolerant landscaping, orchards with multiple fruit trees, a green house and a four-car garage.
Like Fogerty, Stallone didn’t wait long before dropping the property from his portfolio. He paid $18.15 million for the estate in February 2022, and by December, less than a year later, he had begun shopping the place around with a $22.5 million asking price.
Fogerty, who couldn’t be reached for comment, is best known for heading up Creedence Clearwater Revival, the 1960s band he formed with his brother. The band’s hits include “Bad Moon Rising,” “Fortunate Son” and “Proud Mary.”
