BREAKING: Saints’ standout No.
1 receiver returns this week The New Orleans Saints won’t be without their best offensive pass catcher this week.
After missing last week’s game with an ankle injury, the Saints head coach announced that star receiver Chris Olave will be available for Thursday Night Football.
That’s exactly the break the Saints needed.
As of Week 16, the Saints currently sit in second place in the division behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are on a three-game winning streak.
Both teams have a record of 7 wins and 7 losses, but Tampa Bay has defeated both teams in straight sets, forcing a tiebreaker.

This is a must-win game for the Saints, and signing Olave could be the difference between the Saints making the playoffs and the coaching staff keeping their jobs.
This season, Olabe rushed for 918 yards with 72 catches and four touchdowns.
No other Saints receiver currently has at least 600 yards.
If Olabe eclipses the 1,000-yard mark, it will be his second time in just two seasons.
According to PFF, Olave’s admissions grade was 82.
This puts him 17th among all receivers in the league.
This cemented his reputation as the league’s true No. 1 receiver.

He will have an exciting matchup with Akelow Witherspoon this week on Thursday Night Football.
Witherspoon was one of the league’s most inconsistent starting cornerbacks, with a PFF coverage grade of 63.
We expect Olave to play one of his best games of the season on Thursday.
Olave gained about 150 of his receiving yards and easily had his best game of the season, as the Rams’ overall defense rating gave him a 66.
He’s going to be one of his guys on the X Factor in tomorrow’s match.
