Bengals Officially Add Quarterback to Practice Squad Following Joe Burrow’s Injury
The Bengals play the Steelers this Sunday.
CINCINNATI — The Bengals made a few roster moves on Monday morning. They officially signed quarterback Drew Plitt to the practice squad. He joins AJ McCarron and Jake Browning in the quarterback room with Joe Burrow injured.
Rookie running back Chase Brown was cleared for practice. He’s missed the past four games with a hamstring injury. He can be promoted to the 53-man roster at any time.
To make room for Plitt, the Bengals placed guard Jaxson Kirkland on the practice squad injured list. He’s dealing with a wrist injury.
The Bengals will also place Burrow on injured reserve at some point this week.
