According to Ian Rapoport, former 49ers defensive end Charles Omenihu was suspended for six games due to personal conduct.

Omenihu is eligible to participate in all preseason games and practices. The infraction has not been clearly stated, but Omenihu was involved in an incident prior to the NFC Championship Game while with the 49ers.

Obviously, Omenihu’s performance made him a hot commodity in free agency, but was the price tag too high, or was the impending situation?

Omehinu’s contract originally called for a base salary of $1,080,000, a signing bonus of $7,500,000, and a workout bonus of $20,000, with a cap hit of $4,490,000 and a dead cap value of $7,500,000.
