After four seasons in Columbus, Ohio State Buckeyes wideout Julian Fleming has entered the transfer portal.

Ohio State wideout Julian Fleming announced on Monday that he is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal. He’s spent the past four seasons in Columbus and registered 76 catches for 905 yards and seven touchdowns, including six in 2022.

Fleming came to Columbus from Southern Columbia (PA) High School, where he was a five-star prospect and the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle per On3.

While Fleming’s next destination is still up in the air, he was recruited heavily by Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, and LSU, among others.

The 6-2, 190-pounder released a statement on social media on Monday.

“I want to thank Ohio State and all the amazing people who were a part of my rollercoaster of a journey. It was an amazing four years and I have built relationships that will last a lifetime with so many of my fellow players as well as coaches. Playing in Columbus has truly been one of the greatest times of my life and I want to take the time to thank the entire Buckeyes nation for all the support! With that being said I am entering my name into the transfer portal for a final year!”

Monday was a busy day for Ohio State and the transfer portal, headlined by quarterback Kyle McCord who announced his departure. McCord, along with receivers Fleming and Evan Pryor and cornerback Jyaire Brown, are among the Ohio State players apparently on their way out.

Last week, former four-star recruit defensive end Omari Abor also announced he was leaving.
