Elijah Adebayo, a forward from Nigeria, has inked a contract extension with Luton Town, the newest team in the Premier League.
In January 2021, Adebayo traveled from Walsall to Luton Town.
The 26-year-old became a fan favorite after settling in at the club swiftly.
The striker has made 109 appearances for the Hatters and scored 32 goals.
Adebayo was a major factor in Luton Town’s 2018–19 Premier League promotion.
He led the team in assists with numerous and scored ten goals.
After agreeing to the new deal, Adebayo is ecstatic and can’t contain it.
He told lutontow.co.uk, “It’s wonderful to sign any contract, but especially here because I’ve enjoyed my time here since I’ve come in.”
“It’s a no-brainer, especially with the group of guys in the changing room and the people surrounding the club.”
