THE BLACKBURN ROVERS PLAYERS WHO COULD SIGN A PRE-CONTRACT AGREEMENT ELSEWHERE IN JANUARY

This season, Blackburn Rovers finished in seventh position in the Championship and narrowly missed out on the play-offs.
A number of important players, notably Bradley Dack and Daniel Ayala, have been released from the team, and others have been sold.
Tyrhys Dolan and Sam Gallagher are two players whose contracts expire in the summer; if they sign pre-contract agreements in January, the club may lose them.

After missing out on the play-offs this season, his team needed to defeat Millwall at the Den on the final day of the Championship season in order to possibly secure a top-six spot, but their fate was out of their control and depended on other outcomes.

Sadly, Blackburn’s victory was insufficient as Sunderland and Coventry City secured the last two places in the top six. Blackburn finished the season in seventh position in the Championship, after spending the majority of the season in the top play-offs.

The club is presently in its sixth consecutive season in the second division level, and they have worked hard to rebuild and compete again this season. They are now midtable in the race for a play-off spot, so they will be trying to go one better.
