However, steps have already been taken to find a replacement for Mamardashvili in the event that he leaves. According to Relevo, Valencia has reached a verbal agreement with Stole Dimitrievski, who is very interested in moving to the Mestalla after missing out in 2019.
Dimitrievski’s contract with Rayo Vallecano expires at the end of the season, and he appears to be heading elsewhere. Villarreal and Sevilla have both expressed interest in signing him, but Valencia is his preferred destination.
However, nothing has been signed yet because Valencia is unwilling to commit to the deal until they know whether Mamardashvili has a realistic chance of leaving this summer. If he does, Dimitrievski will be his.
