WKU announces NCAA Tournament send off for men’s basketball team
The men’s basketball team from Western Kentucky will get a send-off on Wednesday before they head to Indianapolis for the NCAA Tournament.
On Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., fans are urged to congregate outside Diddle Arena’s Entrance 1 with their red towels. Shortly after that, the Hilltoppers will leave Diddle Arena and board busses to travel to downtown Indianapolis. Both the event and parking at Parking Structure 2, which is located between Houchens-Smith Stadium and Diddle Arena, are free.
The Hilltoppers are a 15 seed and take on 2-seed Marquette on Friday at 1 p.m. CT. The game will take place at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and be televised by TBS.
