Boise State Football: Top 5 Incoming Transfers In 2024

Boise State’s roster will have nine new transfer players in 2024: five from other D-I schools, four from junior colleges. Each of those pieces helped the Bronco’s class become the highest-rated in the Mountain West, as well as the highest-rated in Boise State history.

As Spencer Danielson enters his first full season as the Broncos’ head coach, can each of those pieces make an immediate impact? These five are the most likely candidates to do so, in our eyes.

Woodard totaled 83 tackles, 17 of which were for a loss, in 42 games played for Ball State. And he had eleven sacks. In 2024, Boise may have the top pass rush in the Mountain West if they line him up opposite the incredibly athletic Ahmed Hassanein on the defensive end.

The departure of Eric McAlister means that the Broncos could use another deep threat. The ex-Hoosier could fill that gap. The graduate student averaged just under five catches per game with an average of 13.5 yards per catch at Indiana. He’ll be one of two grad student receivers, at least based on Boise’s spring roster.

Coming out of high school, Marshall was a five-star recruit with a composite score of 0.9885 from 247Sports. He originally signed with Texas A&M, where he played the 2022 season catching 11 balls for 108 yards. He transferred to Ole Miss after that season, where he was dismissed in spring practices. Marshall spent the 2023 season at Kilgore Junior College, where he became the #1 overall JUCO player in the 2024 class.
