Tacko Fall, who has played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, has signed with a team in Puerto Rico.
Tacko Fall was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers during his most recent NBA season, which took place in 2021–2022.

Fall played in 11 games (one start) that year, averaging 1.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Fall has been playing in the CBA abroad most recently.

The 28-year-old shot 74.2% from the floor and averaged 9.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game in 34 games this season.

A Puerto Rican squad called Piratas de Quebradillas revealed earlier this week that they had signed Fall (h/t RealGM).

Through Their English-translated Instagram post: “Our two new reinforcements for the upcoming season are Emmanuel Mudiay, the goalkeeper, and Tacko Fall, the center defender. Fall, at 7’6 and a half, will become the tallest center in league history.

Fall attended UCF to play collegiate basketball. In his last year, he shot 74.8% from the floor and averaged 11.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.

Prior to joining the Cavaliers in 2020–21, he played for the Boston Celtics for the first two seasons of his NBA career after going undrafted.

Fall averaged 2.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game while shooting 67.3% from the field throughout his 37 NBA outings.

Additionally, he played for Boston in three NBA Playoff games.

During the 2021–22 season, he participated in four G League Showcase Cup games and averaged 23.3 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game while shooting 76.0% from the field. This was perhaps the strongest stretch of his professional career.
