Nebraska women’s basketball’s Annika Stewart enters transfer portal
Nebraska women’s basketball reserve forward Annika Stewart will enter the transfer portal after four seasons with the Huskers.
The 6-foot-3 junior came to Nebraska in 2020, and played all 26 games as a true freshman. She appeared in 27 games in 2021-22 and played in all 33 games in 2022-23.
In total, she appeared in 111 games over four years at Nebraska.
This past season, Stewart came on strong down the stretch. She scored 12 points over three games at the Big Ten Tournament, and made two 3-pointers in the Huskers’ season-ending loss to Oregon State on Sunday.
Stewart’s 2022-23 season was stalled by a leg injury that kept her out of eight games at the beginning of the season. She played sparingly from there, only eclipsing more than 10 minutes in a game three times since November.
