Morgantown, West Virginia — Neal Brown and the Mountaineers just expanded their 2025 class to include a specialist. Kicker/punter Matthew Park of Central York High School in Pennsylvania committed to WVU through X.
Parker, who does not hold an official rating from any major recruiting outlet, attended the same high school as Running Back Jahiem White. He only holds one other offer, according to 247Sports. This is to Penn State, who WVU opens the 2024 season with on August 31st.

It is not lost on anyone how well West Virginia’s run game has performed under Neal Brown and Chad Scott. The entire depth and output the Mountaineers have produced in recent years has pleased recruits, making it a popular choice for many around the nation.
2025 running back class Of those recruits, Eddie Love Jr. (5’8″, 175 lbs) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, is seriously considering joining that elite bunch. He scheduled his official visit to WVU for June 7–9 a few days ago.
“I will say the relationship with the coaches I have is top tier. Anytime I talk to them I can just be myself. They’ve always been straight up,” Love told Mountaineers Now. “And the program itself is great, and as you know Coach Scott just had a freshman All-American.
