Following their relegation from the Premier League, it’s widely expected that Robin Koch (26) will leave Leeds United this summer, with two Bundesliga clubs courting the defender

Eintracht Frankfurt, who are pursuing Ellyes Skhiri, are expected to seek clarity on Koch’s future this weekend and according to Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen’s interest in signing Koch will remain even if Jonathan Tah stays at the club beyond the summer.

Tah, Edmond Tapsoba and Piero Hincapié are all being courted by Premier League clubs and because of that, Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring the market for a central-defender should one of them depart.

As reported earlier this month, West Ham United are one club that have enquired about signing Tah, who has a reported exit clause of around €18m. Tottenham Hotspur have also initiated contact with Leverkusen’s Tapsoba while Hincapié is touted as one of the best young defenders in football at the moment and although out for around three months, is a player that has generated interest.

Because of Leeds United’s relegation, Koch can leave the West Yorkshire club due to a clause in his contract and Eintracht have already held talks with the defender, who are looking for reinforcements following the departures of Evan Ndicka and Almamy Touré.

With several clubs courting Koch and both Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt pursuing other targets first, don’t expect a quick decision on the German’s future.
