West Virginia Football Reveals New Uniforms Set to Debut in 2024
WV – MORGANTOWN During the spring game on Saturday afternoon, the West Virginia Mountaineers unveiled their new jerseys, which will be worn for the first time in 2024.
Double stripes on the pants salute the teams from the 20th century, including Major Harris and company, who made it to the national championship in 1988. The stripes on the shoulder pads are back, paying respect to the Pat White/Geno Smith eras of Mountaineer football, which saw three BCS championships. Additionally, the flying WV logo is back on both sides of the shoulder pads.
The road uniform has West Virginia across the chest just above the numbers while the gold and blue jerseys read Mountaineers.
