Bulldogs sign first-round draft pick
The Brantford Bulldogs are extremely excited to receive a commitment from Aiden O’Donnell,” Bulldogs general manager Matt Turek said in a release.
“Aiden is a young man who brings every element we look for in a Bulldog, combining skill with a deep desire to win on the ice while bringing high character on and off the ice.
“This selection and signing also speaks to the commitment of our incredible scouting team who located Aiden half the country away and put in the work to watch him on video and in person and create a connection with Aiden and the O’Donnell family.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Aiden to Brantford and to see him grow as a player and person as a Bulldog.”
O’Donnell is a native of Cole Harbour, NS. He is a six-foot-one, 170-pound forward who finished fourth overall in scoring in the Nova Scotia Under-18 Major Hockey League as an underager while winning rookie of the year.
