Besiktas have made an official offer to sign free agent Yerry Mina, who has also been linked with Fulham, according to Turkish daily Sabah.

Mina, 28, is a Colombian center-back who has played for Everton for the past five years. He made 7 appearances for the Toffees in the 2022-23 season, but was limited by injury.

Besiktas are looking to replace Romain Saiss, who is expected to leave the club this summer.

The Black Eagles are a major force in Turkish football and could challenge for the title next season.

Fulham are also interested in Mina, but they are facing competition from Besiktas.

The Cottagers finished in 10th place in the Premier League last season and are looking to strengthen their squad.

It is unclear whether Mina would prefer to stay in England or move to Turkey.

However, Besiktas would be able to offer European competition football next season after finishing the Super Lig in third place.

The transfer is subject to the clubs agreeing on a fee and personal terms.

Fulham,West Ham and Burnley all ‘close’ to same player

Burnley, Fulham and West Ham United are all today named in the race for Union Berlin striker Sheraldo Becker.

The information is brought by German outlet Sport Bild, who share some news on the transfer plans of the Bundesliga side.

Their story claims that Becker’s departure from Union Berlin ‘cannot be ruled out’, as he’s ‘hoping for a move’ to the Premier League.

That’s where Burnley, Fulham and West Ham are all brought in, with the outlet saying those clubs are all ‘close to him’.

Another reason why Becker may be at the exit door is that he changed agents a few weeks ago, with Sport Bild saying he’s now represented by Volker Struth’s agency Sports360.

As for the price that Burnley, Fulham or West Ham would need to pay to sign the striker this summer, it’s claimed that the Bundesliga side are ‘hoping’ to get him sold for €20m. Since his contract expires next year, there could be a little pressure for him to be gone this summer.

Playing for the German club last season, Becker had 12 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances.
