Former Bristol Rovers, Port Vale and Walsall boss Darrell Clarke to leave Cheltenham Town
Gloucestershire Live has learned that Darrell Clarke will soon leave Cheltenham Town.
Since September 2023, the 46-year-old has managed the Robins, overseeing 39 games in that capacity.
He took over a side that appeared destined for relegation and had not won or scored a goal in their first ten League One games.
Under Clarke’s leadership, they made virtually instant progress and fought off elimination until the final game of the season. However, a 2-1 loss against Stevenage confirmed their return to League Two, even though a victory would have kept them in the standings.
