CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) — A man is accused of carjacking someone at gunpoint outside the Walmart store in Corinth.
Corinth Police identified the suspect as Talinn Loveless, 23, of Corinth.
The crime happened Sunday afternoon, Sept. 15 as the victim sat in a vehicle at the store’s entrance, police announced.
The victim claimed Loveless opened the vehicle’s door, pointed a gun and demanded the victim get out of the vehicle.
Loveless allegedly drove off.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol later found the vehicle wrecked on Highway 365 in Tishomingo County, which is east of Corinth.
A state trooper found Loveless near the crash site, police announced. This resulted in his arrest.
Corinth Police charged him with armed carjacking and possession of a gun by a felon.
