Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra is a target for AC Milan this summer, but the Italian giants must sell a non-EU player before they are even able to consider signing him.
Leeds have plenty of players that would be considered “saleable” assets this summer, having invested in younger players throughout their time in the Premier League.
After relegation, a lot of those look ripe for the picking at a potential cut price to what Leeds would be aiming to receive for them.
Luis Sinisterra to AC Milan?
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web are now claiming that AC Milan are keen on signing Luis Sinisterra this summer.
Off the back of their run to the Champions League semi-final, Stefani Pioli appears keen to add to his attack, especially after seeing footballing icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic retire from the game, leaving him potentially short up top.
Do Milan stand a chance of signing him?
The report comes with two caveats for the potential signing of Sinisterra for Milan, the first of those being that the asking price is supposedly set at €25million (£21.57m).
Secondly, Milan would be currently unable to sign Sinisterra due to Serie A regulations on the number of non-EU players on the books.
The San Siro outfit would have to let a non-EU player go before signing Sinisterra, to which the report claims could be fellow Colombian, goalkeeper Devis Vasquez.
Sinisterra should be a target for a number of clubs, but you have to wonder whether his injury problems have put clubs off.
He’s working hard in the gym currently to get himself in the best shape for pre-season, and let’s just hope that he is with us for next term.
The winger would simply tear the EFL apart if he stayed here, and there should be confidence of us doing so.
