PSG have entered the race for Tottenham Hotspur target Dusan Vlahovic
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that PSG have set its sights on Dusan Vlahovic, a player who has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The situation arose after it emerged that Tottenham were considering potential replacements for their star striker, Harry Kane. The English striker has been heavily linked with an exit from the club.
Enter Vlahovic, a name that has become synonymous with Tottenham’s contingency plan. CalcioMercato indicate that the Serbian international features prominently on the Lilywhites’ radar.
Tottenham is willing to shell out a substantial sum of €65m to secure the services of the talented forward in the event of Kane’s departure. However, Romano has now revealed that PSG is also vying for Vlahovic’s signature.
The French giants are in search of a dynamic centre-forward to bolster their attacking options. Vlahovic’s name reportedly features prominently on PSG’s wishlist, indicating their genuine interest in acquiring his services.
It appears that the Italian champions are open to the idea of parting ways with Vlahovic, but any serious offer must be deemed significant enough to prompt negotiations. Massimiliano Allegri’s side is not willing to entertain lowball bids.
Tottenham finds themselves in an intriguing position. While they have identified Vlahovic as a potential heir to Kane’s throne, the emergence of PSG as a serious contender complicates matters.
The allure of playing for a club with PSG’s global stature and financial muscle could prove tempting for the Serbian striker. Tottenham might not be able to compete with the French club in this regard.
Regardless, this is an interesting situation for us to keep an eye on. Let’s see how Tottenham go about these negotiations.
