The Gateshead-born forward is a childhood Newcastle fan but came through the ranks at North East rivals Sunderland Ladies, making her first-team debut in 2016.

After four years in the Black Cats’ senior set-up, Galloway made the decision to move to Durham Women in 2020.

Galloway regularly featured in the Championship during her time with the Wildcats and has also represented her country at youth level.

The striker received her first call-up to England under-19s in 2018 and scored twice during her time in the young Lionesses’ set-up.

Delighted to add Galloway to her ranks, Newcastle Women manager Becky Langley said: “I worked with Bridget at Northumbria University and she was the top goalscorer in the league.

Newcastle United - Galloway: "The club's ambitions match mine"
