The 21 year old joins Southampton having scored five times – including a header at St Mary’s – across 20 games in all competitions last season.

The German-born forward came through at FFC Frankfurt, who were later engulfed by Eintracht Frankfurt, before making her Republic of Ireland debut against Belgium in 2019.

Speaking upon her arrival at Saints, Kraft said: “I’m buzzing to be here. It’s a really good club and I’m so happy to take my next steps here.

“With all the ambitions and what they strive for, I just think it’s a really good club and that we can have a lot of success this season.”

Saints Head Coach Marieanne Spacey-Cale remarked: “Emily caused us problems last year, playing for Lewes.

“She’s a great central striker but can play along the line as well.

Kraft becomes Saints third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Chloe Peplow and Rianna Dean.
