Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have reportedly made contact with intermediaries regarding a shock move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Kane is now into the final year of his current contract with Spurs and speculation is mounting that the England captain could be on his way out of North London this summer.

Whether he engineers a transfer this year, or leaves for nothing at the end of next season, there is a genuine possibility Tottenham will lose their star man.

All the talk around Kane’s future suggests the 29-year-old is eager to win trophies and may move to a top side who can make that happen for him.

As things stand, Bayern Munich are the most likely destination for Kane. The German side are expected to return with an improved offer of £80m for the Spurs man in the near future (Daily Mirror).

French champions PSG have also expressed an interest in Kane and were reportedly ready to make a big offer for the striker, but it appears Kane is not keen on the idea of a move there (Telegraph).

Al-Hilal have made contact regarding Kane

The clubs in the Saudi league are making big moves themselves this summer, snapping up huge talents like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Ruben Neves. Now, it seems Kane is “high on the agenda” for the burgeoning football league.

The report comes from Sky Sports News, who claim Al-Hilal have “set their sights” on the Spurs star. At present, the club have “held talks with an intermediary” to sound out the possibility of signing Kane.

However, it is suggested these reports should be “treated with an element of caution” and it is not thought Kane would be interested in such a switch.

Spurs Web Opinion

There is absolutely zero chance that Kane would go to Saudi Arabia. Such a move would affect his Spurs legacy massively, and his status in the game entirely.

Money is clearly not the crux of the matter for Kane anyway, and he wants to be playing at the top level and winning trophies.
