Tottenham Hotspur and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal are among five teams keen on signing Kylian Mbappe this summer, according to reports.

Mbappe, 24, has established himself as one of football’s brightest stars, winning the Ligue 1 Golden Boot last season and scoring an incredible hat-trick in the World Cup final.

However, the Paris-Saint Germain forward looks set to take up a new challenge this summer after transfer expert Fabrizo Romano confirmed he was up for sale.

Speaking on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Romano said: “Kylian Mbappe is out of the PSG squad, excluded for the pre-season tour in Japan.

“Now he is available and on the market, they are prepared to negotiate with any club.”

It is widely thought that the Frenchman will join Real Madrid after he reportedly agreed a free transfer with the Spanish giants when his contract expires next summer, but PSG are desperate to avoid losing him for free.

Whilst their decision to sell him this summer has cast doubt over a move to the Bernabeu, with five other clubs allegedly interested in signing Mbappe.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Marca, who state that Tottenham, Manchester United, Chelsea, Al-Hilal and Real Madrid are all keeping tabs on the player.

Indeed, Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been heavily rumoured with a move away from north London, with Bayern Munich, PSG and Al-Hilal all reportedly interested in the 29-year-old.

Therefore, if Kane is sold this summer, the Premier League side could try to use the money earned to help land Mbappe.

The former Monaco star is currently valued at €180m (£155.7m), as per Transfermarkt, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that he could be sold for even more.

Arsenal have also been linked with Mbappe recently, but manager Mikel Arteta refused to discuss the situation over the weekend.

When quizzed on the matter, the Spaniard said: “You know I never talk about players that don’t play for our club,” he told reporters.
