Nottingham Forest receive another Man Utd transfer boost after Anthony Elanga
Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as the Reds are said to have agreed personal terms with Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson
Nottingham Forest are said to have taken a major step forward in their attempts to sign Dean Henderson from Manchester United.
The Reds are understood to have agreed personal terms with Henderson as they continue to try to thrash out a deal with United that would see the goalkeeper return to the City Ground.
Forest are looking to sign a new No.1 goalkeeper this summer and Henderson is believed to be their top target after he impressed manager Steve Cooper during a loan spell with the club last season.
Henderson started 18 matches for the Reds in the Premier League before suffering a season-ending injury in January which led Forest to replace him with Keylor Navas, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Henderson is fit again now and back in pre-season training at Old Trafford as Forest try to clinch a deal for him.
Meanwhile, it is understood Henderson’s United teammate Anthony Elanga will undergo a medical at Forest on Monday before completing a permanent switch to the City Ground.
