Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano previously shared an update via Twitter (23 August), revealing that a deal was close, with the Hammers and the player himself feeling as if the transfer was “90 per cent” complete.
Shining light
It seems as if yet another transfer saga at the London Stadium this summer is drawing to a conclusion, and it is a positive outcome for supporters of the East London outfit. After the start they have made to the season, which included some bright performances from their two brand-new midfielders, James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez, optimism will be high.
And those optimism levels would have now only increased following this latest update from Sheth. Kudus is a fantastic player with plenty of room to improve and for the fee they are binging him in for, it could be considered a bargain later down the line.
His attacking ability speaks for itself, with the player having scored 18 times while providing seven assists in all competitions last season, and his reunion with Alvarez in the Premier League could also help him to settle in faster.
It is an exciting time to be an Iron.
