Stoke City news and reaction as Jacob Brown joins Luton Town
As he prepares to leave for the Premier League, Jacob Brown has issued an emotional letter to Stoke City and the club’s supporters.

The 25-year-old forward has completed a pre-season move to Luton Town, ending a three-year stint at the bet365 Stadium.

He signed off with a goal in last weekend’s 4-1 win over Rotherham, his 30th in 141 games for Stoke, and might make his Luton debut tomorrow away at Brighton.

“I’d just like to say a massive thank you for the past three years,” the ex-Barnsley resident wrote on social media. “It’s been incredible to be a part of such a large club.” I’ve enjoyed every minute on and off the field, thanks to a fantastic group of players and staff who have made my stay here so memorable.

“Finally, I’d like to express my gratitude to all of the fans who welcomed me and supported me along the way.” I can honestly say that I gave everything I had every time I stepped onto the field, and I was immensely happy to wear a Stoke City shirt.

“Wishing everyone involved at the club continued success!”
