‘Not going to play’: 24-year-old player is likely finished at Wolves now

Bruno Jordao, a Wolves player who hasn’t received much attention this summer, doesn’t appear to be on the verge of a comeback at Molineux, despite a managerial change.

Jordan played last season on loan with Santa Clara in Portugal.

Jordao is a strange situation. He only made 11 appearances for them before returning to Wolves this summer.

He was signed by the same team and at the same time as Pedro Neto.

However, he has been troubled by injuries since his arrival.

Some have speculated whether Jordao could become a viable choice for Gary O’Neil.

Given what journalist Liam Keen had to say about the player on the current Express & Star podcast…

Bruno Jordao is unlikely to play for Wolves’ first team again, according to the latest Express & Star podcast.

Jordao has only made five first-team appearances for Wolves, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be adding to that total anytime soon.

“From everyone I’ve spoken to around the club who’s dealt with him, he seems like a really nice guy,” Keen said of his potential to replace O’Neil. As far as I’m aware, although it’s tough to say for definite, he’s never made a fuss or caused any problems, and he appears to be a kind guy. But it just hasn’t really worked out for him.

“I think he’s clearly not up to the level; he’s also had injuries.” Some of the debts he’s taken out have also not worked out. He’s not going to play for Wolves unless something extraordinary happens and O’Neil falls for him. But I don’t believe that will be the case. He will not be playing for the Wolves. He will most likely leave at some point. “The chances of him playing for Wolves again are extremely remote.”

Keen believes Jordao might yet depart for a new club this summer, with certain doors still open.
There is also the possibility that Wolves and Jordao will mutually agree to terminate his contract, which he is now in his final year.

Earlier this summer, Jordao had spoken about returning to the first-team picture at Molineux.

Jordao has been unlucky at Wolves

So it looks as though Jordao could soon be moving on from Wolves.

His time at the club has just been very unfortunate.

His injury problems have meant he’s always been unable to build momentum and have a shot at being a first-team option.

He was rated fairly highly when he joined alongside Neto.

But it just hasn’t worked out and now there are a lot of midfield options at Molineux, making a renaissance practically impossible.
