Amadou Onana responds in five words to the 27-year-old’s decision to leave Everton.
Neal Maupay has received a five-word communication from Amadou Onana.

The midfielder lauded Maupay on Instagram only days after his loan return to Brentford was finalized.
After joining the Bees for the remainder of the season, Maupay will be eager to get his career back on track.

The striker joined Everton from Brighton in a £15 million transfer last summer, but he has failed to impress, scoring only one goal in 32 games across all competitions.

Maupay didn’t exactly set the world on fire at Brighton, but his greatest form came during his previous two-year stint at Brentford, where he scored 37 Championship goals.

The 27-year-old has already returned to the London club, and Onana has backed him up when he shared a video of himself training over the international break.
The midfielder added, ‘Naahhh t’es sharp mon front,’ which translates to, ‘Naahhh you’re sharp dear brother,’ along with a heart eye emoji.

Maupay joins Brentford as a substitute for Ivan Toney, who is now suspended for eight months for betting charges. The England international will not return to competitive football until January, putting a lot of pressure on Maupay.

Maupay joins Brentford as a substitute for Ivan Toney, who is presently serving an eight-month ban for betting crimes. The England international will not return to competitive football until January, leaving Maupay with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin still out with an injury, the striker’s exit opens the door for Portuguese combo Beto and Youssef Chermiti to shine.

Maupay-Everton – Arsedevils

Will we see Neal Maupay at Everton again?
Everton’s choice to loan out Neal Maupay was bizarre, because it makes no difference to them whether he succeeds at Brentford or not.

Even if he is able to regain his footing, the Frenchman’s contract expires at the end of the season, and it is quite doubtful that the Toffees will choose to extend it.

Maupay appears destined to leave the club on a free transfer next summer, and I can only imagine no one was willing to pay anything for him now to make that choice reasonable.
