After the international break, the player who left Everton in 2022 claims he will seek psychological assistance.
Richarlison, a former Everton striker, has spoken out about his mental health following a difficult period on and off the field.
The Brazilian attacker moved from Goodison Park to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer for £60 million, but he has only scored once for his new team.
Richarlison has had a miserable season, to say the least, with the 26-year-old crying on the bench for Brazil during the international break.
In an interview in Brazil, he revealed his troubles, claiming he’d been dealing with ‘off-field concerns’ for months.
Richarlison has stated that he will seek psychological assistance.
“On the field, I’m a happy team player who tries to help as much as I can.” Things do not always go as planned. I believe this is an example of the off-field side that got in my way.
“Even when you try to do things correctly, they always go wrong.” I’ll stay focused on the club now that the storm has passed.
“That sad moment wasn’t even because I played poorly; in my opinion, I didn’t play a bad game in Belém; it was more of an outburst about what was going on off the field, which got out of hand not on my part, but on the part of people close to me.”
“I’m going back to England to seek psychological assistance from a psychologist to work on my mind.” That’s it; return stronger.”
