Wolves now ‘working on’ way to get rid of 24-year-old who cost £7.6m
Wolves signed Bruno Jordão back in 2019, however, the move never quite worked out.
Jordão was signed by Lazio and arrived as a really exciting prospect at the club, with expectations high.
Old Gold had parted with £7.6million to sign the midfielder which just shows how highly they were rating him.
Despite this, a series of unsuccessful loans to clubs that are affiliated with Wolves left him in the cold at Molineux.
Now it appears that Wolves are ready to admit their recruitment mistakes and get rid of Jordão.
Wolves looking for Jordão exit strategies
Wolves had hoped to sell Jordão during the summer, however a move failed to transpire.
Now with most major windows closed, only a few options remain, but according to Express and Star, Wolves and the player are looking at option.
It is mentioned mutual termination, however this would leave Jordão unable to join a new club until January.
The report adds that the club are “working on a solution for him.”
We imagine this will mean a permanent departure transpires sooner than later for the Portuguese man.
Is selling the best option
It is a shame really for Jordao that it has worked out this way, before his move to Wolves, he had made three senior appearances for Lazio.
But since his move four years ago, he has made just five for Wolves, which combined with his appearances for his loan sides, means he has made 39 senior appearances in four years.
A case of wasted potential and one Wolves club chiefs will be disappointed about.
But it seems now that the best and only option, is to find him a way out of Molineux.
