Aaron Rodgers forced to address comeback issue that will leave New York Jets frustrated

After’revealing’ that he may rejoin the New York Jets this month, the late quarterback raised supporters’ expectations, but it now seems highly improbable that this will happen.

Dispelling rumors that he would make a comeback in a few weeks, Aaron Rodgers has stated that his return will occur at least one month from now.

During his Tuesday appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, he declared: “It’ll be a few fortnights.” in what New York Jets supporters would surely consider to be a severe blow. After the great quarterback made some eye-opening remarks to Los Angeles Chargers defender Derwin James this week, there was some early hope that he would return in November.

A neighboring video crew overheard the words, and Rodgers commented, “Obviously, that was said with a little tongue-in-cheek there.” Being able to return in a few weeks would be fantastic. That’s most likely not even close to a feasible schedule.”

After being traded from the Green Bay Packers earlier this summer, the 39-year-old tore his Achilles tendon during his Jets debut, and surgery was only eight weeks away.

After suffering the injury only four plays into his season opener at MetLife Stadium in Week 1, Rodgers was initially expected to miss the whole season and rehabilitate over the course of nine months. But in the last few weeks, the veteran’s recuperation has been astounding.

Given that Zach Wilson, Rodgers’ backup, is still having difficulty, Jets supporters will want to see Rodgers return as soon as possible. Wilson was chosen as the second overall player in 2021, ahead of players like Micah Parsons, Ja’Marr Chase, and Patrick Surtain II. However, Wilson has not lived up to the promise.
