Matt Rhule receives surprise ranking among Big Ten coaches
Matt Rhule, the head football coach at Nebraska, is getting ready for his second season leading the Cornhuskers. All eighteen Big Ten Conference coaches are ranked in a new ranking from 247Sports.
Four new teams will join the conference in 2024, expanding the league. Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington—all former Pac-12 members—will be moving to their new location.
Oregon’s Dan Lanning leads the way for the coaches of the new members, ranking No. 2 overall in the Big Ten. USC’s Lincoln Reilly ranks No. 4 overall in the conference.
The conference will also welcome five new coaches, with Sherrone Moore of Michigan placing highest among them all at No. 8. DeShaun Foster of UCLA trails the other new coach at No. 17.
