Bristol Bears player ratings from Northampton Saints thrashing – ‘artfully pulled the strings’

The Bristol Bears showed their Gallagher Premiership rivals that they are still in the running for the playoffs on Friday night at Ashton Gate, as they crushed league leaders Northampton Saints 52-21.

Lock Joe Batley and scrum-half Harry Randall’s tries amid an early scoring surge propelled Bristol to victory. In the second half, prop Kyle Sinckler, lock James Dun, and winger Gabriel Ibitoye scored, along with replacements Max Malins and Fred Davies. MacGinty added two more conversions and a penalty, and MacGinty and James Williams combined for one more conversion to secure a bonus-point victory for Bristol. Despite three Fin Smith conversions, a Jake Garside touchdown, and two tries by Ollie Sleightholme, the night was unforgettable for Northampton.
