S Rodney McLeod Jr. has re-signed by the Browns. He first signed with the team in May 2023.
The Browns have announced that they have re-signed S Rodney McLeod to a deal, bringing back a valuable veteran for their secondary and leader in the locker room.

McLeod signed with Cleveland in May 2023 and played for the Browns during the 2023 season. He totaled 29 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one pass defensed in his ten games with the Browns. In terms of passing yards allowed and overall yards allowed, he assisted the Browns in leading the NFL. Due to a biceps injury he suffered throughout the season, McLeod was placed on injured reserve on November 21, thereby ending his play.

Virginia native McLeod is starting his thirteenth season in the NFL. In 166 career games with 143 starts, he was first signed by the Rams in 2012 as an undrafted free agent. He has since played for the Rams (2012–15), Eagles (2017–21), Colts (2022), and Browns (2023), totaling 718 tackles, 25 tackles for loss, one quarterback hit, and two sacks. In addition, he has 61 passes defensed, nine fumble recoveries for two scores, and 18 interceptions for one touchdown.
