Born Joseph Dalton Michael in Morgantown, West Virginia, Huey Mack began his musical career at the age of 14. For the most part of his high school career, he dabbled with music as a side interest. At seventeen years old, he began putting out free digital mixtapes.

Mack eventually developed a cult-like following for “A Boy Named Hue” and went on his own headline tours. These experiences eventually found their way into his independently released full-length album Pretending Perfection, which was co-produced by hitmaker Louis Bell and peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums. With Brad Paisley, Charles Wesley Godwin, and Lauren Weintraub on his recently released, country-inspired album “The Cozy Bar,” which has had over 20 million plays, Huey has continued to explore and push the boundaries of his music since the success of his debut.
