2025 NCAA men’s college basketball odds: Gonzaga listed at +2500 odds to win national championship

Major bookies have already posted odds on which teams have the best chance of taking down the nets in 2025, following the UConn Huskies’ victory on Monday as their back-to-back national champions.

Given that the Gonzaga Bulldogs are among the early preseason favorites in several publications, it appears that both bookies and forecasters have the same opinion on the squad.

Here’s a look at where the Zags’ championship odds stand heading into the offseason.

Draftkings: +2500 (T-7th-best)
BetMGM: +3000 (T-7th best)
FanDuel: +3000 (T-6th best)
VegasInsider: +4000 (T-9th best)

Duke leads the pack in most sportsbooks with anywhere from +1000 to +1100 odds to win the program’s sixth national championship. The Blue Devils will likely lose Kyle Filipowski in the NBA Draft but they’ll bring in top recruits Cooper Flagg and Khaman Malauch while returning Jeremy Roach. Duke is also No. 1 in way-too-early power rankings from The Athletic, ESPN, USA Today and Yahoo! Sports.

UConn is heavily favored to pull off the first three-peat since UCLA won seven titles in a row from 1967-73. The Huskies will likely have to replace four starters — Donovan Clingan and Stephon Castle are likely first round picks while Tristen Newton, the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament and Cam Spencer are fifth-year seniors. Still, Dan Hurley will bring in four-star recruits Ahmad Nowell (No. 37 on 247Sports) and Isaiah Abraham (No. 74) in an attempt to get UConn back to the top once again.

Regarding the Zags, Mark Few is expected to return most of the team that played like a top-10 team to end the season. Anton Watson is the only known departure at this point. Pepperdine transfer Michael Ajayi and Steele Venters back from injury will be big additions on the offensive end of the floor as well.

Still, a lot can change over the next seven months.
