Jayden Loftin talks about his recent Rutgers football offer, upcoming Tennesse visit

Over the weekend, Rutgers football extended an offer to Jayden Loftin, putting the Big Ten program in serious contention with one of New Jersey’s best prospects.

He claims Rutgers is currently a candidate for Loftin. Additionally, he has a hectic itinerary right now because this weekend he will be visiting the Tennessee Volunteers.

He is a member of the class of 2025 and is a 6-foot-4, 235-pound edge rusher from Somerville, New Jersey.

According to 247Sports, he is the No. 20 overall prospect in New Jersey for this current class and the No. 42 edge rusher in the country. Loftin paid an informal visit to Rutgers over the weekend.

Loftin received an offer from head coach Greg Schiano on the visit.

Getting an offer from the home team was really satisfying, Loftin said to Rutgers Wire.

“There, they’re constructing something extraordinary.”

Loftin delves into the specifics of Schiano’s offer and his response to the program formally becoming engaged in his hiring.

Loftin stated, “Coach Schiano really made a point of outlining the program’s values and his goals for it going forward.

I find the F.T.C. (mantra) to be appealing since it is a concept that my family has instilled in me since I was a little child, making it quite relatable.

“They definitely rank in my top 10, and I had a great visit.”

Loftin stated, “We didn’t discuss anything about an official visit” because he is booked for his four official visits.
