Las Vegas Raiders signing ex-Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup
The Raiders of Las Vegas are not done adding weapons.
Wide receiver Michael Gallup, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, is anticipated to sign a $3 million, one-year contract with the Raiders, a person with knowledge of the negotiations confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. Due to their lack of authorization to disclose the arrangement, the speaker only agreed to remain anonymous.
ESPN broke the news of Gallup’s one-year deal first.
Gallup was ranked among the top 20 free agents accessible by USA TODAY Sports.
The Cowboys were the team that the 28-year-old wide out played for six years in his career. Gallup recorded career highs in receiving yards (1,107) and catches (66) in 2019. Since then, though, Gallup has failed to record a season with more than 60 catches and 1,000 yards.

After Gallup finished 2023 with 34 catches and a career-low 418 receiving yards, Dallas released the wide receiver in March to save up $9.5 million in salary budget space.
