Nottingham Forest confirm striker transfer as statement released

Hwang Ui-jo, a striker for Nottingham Forest, has been confirmed to have left the team for Norwich City on a temporary loan.

The 31-year-old joined FC Seoul in February and remained there through the rest of the season after spending the previous one on loan at Olympiacos. His third loan since joining the Reds last summer is to Norwich.

The team announced that Hwang Ui-jo had successfully completed a loan transfer to Norwich City in a statement.

“The South Korean international joined Forest last summer after spending the 2022–23 season on loan with Olympiacos and FC Seoul.

“With Norwich presently sitting second in the Sky Bet Championship table, the striker will now transfer to Carrow Road on loan for the duration of the season. We hope Ui-jo has a successful time playing for Norwich.

Ui-jo said to the club media of Norwich for the first time: “I am really excited. I want to do whatever I can to support the squad. I am eager to play.

“I chatted with the coach, and he gave me fantastic advice. They frequently press high, and the forwards link the action. It’s all about teamwork and perseverance.
