Leeds United loanee Djed Spence has sent a message to Brennan Johnson on Instagram after the forward left Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest for Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur completed the signing of Brennan Johnson from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest on the final day of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Wales international forward is over the moon to have made the move to Spurs, as you can see below.
Johnson has also sent an emotional message to Forest after his departure from the City Ground.
The youngster had been on the books of Forest since 2009 and came through the club’s youth academy system.
Djed Spence spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Forest from Middlesbrough and played with Johnson at the Reds during that period.
The 23-year-old right-back moved to Tottenham in the summer of 2022.
The youngster was sent out on loan to Leeds United in the Championship from Premier League club Tottenham earlier this week.
Spence will spend the entire season on loan at Leeds, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season and are aiming to get back into the top flight of English football.
And he seems to be a fan of Johnson, who is a very promising young player and could be a huge success at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
